HALAL PHARMACEUTICAL- AN EMERGING CONCEPT GLOBALLY

HALAL PHARMACEUTICAL- AN EMERGING CONCEPT GLOBALLY .

Halal is an Arabic word which means permissible in Islam. Halal has a broad meaning in Islam and not confine up to halal food rather it is a pattern of life permitted by all mighty Allah to live, behave, work and develop relations with others in this world. Allah has described the reward of his obedience and the consequences of disobedience in detail in Holy Quran.

The Cow (Al-Baqarah):30 - And when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a viceroy in the earth, they said: Wilt thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will shed blood, while we, we hymn Thy praise and sanctify Thee? He said: Surely I know that which ye know not.

The Cow (Al-Baqarah):34 - And when We said unto the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He demurred through pride, and so became a disbeliever.

Urdu translation:-

The favourite angel become Iblis (Most unfavourite ) only because he did not obey the commandment of Allah and got punishment.

The Cow (Al-Baqarah):35 - And We said: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers.
Urdu translation: -

ALLAH, Subhanahu wa ta’ala, has rewarded the heaven to Adam, alaihis salaam, clearly instructed not to eat the fruits of the forbidden tree (haram). Prophet Adam, alaihis salaam, succumbed to the nafs (temptations) and ate the fruit for which he was chastised and punished by ALLAH. He was banished from heaven to Earth as mentioned in the below verse of Holy Quran

The Cow (Al-Baqarah):36 - But Satan caused them to deflect there from and expelled them from the (happy) state in which they were; and We said: Fall down, one of you a foe unto the other! There shall be for you on earth a habitation and provision for a time.

The world came in to existence with the arrival of Adam, alaihis salaam and he has been directed to follow the guidance of Allah as it reaches to him time to time.

The Cow (Al-Baqarah):38 - We said: Go down, all of you, from hence; but verily there cometh unto you from Me a guidance; and whoso followed My guidance, there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.

Urdu translation: -

The Muslims are exercising their religious belief freely in Islamic countries but the Muslims living in Non Muslim countries have some limitations like Halal food is their primary challenge. The following verses of Holy Quran describe what kind of meat is permitted.

The Honey Beess (An-Naĥl):115 - He hath forbidden for you only carrion and blood and  swineflesh and that which hath been immolated in the name of any other than Allah; but he who is driven thereto, neither craving nor transgressing, lo! then Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

In 1960 the United State of America permitted for halal food to the Muslim in respect of their religious need and obligation. Halal becomes the part of Codex Alimentarius (ensuring that the flesh of the animal has excellent hygienic condition and meet the international standards). Of United Nations in 1998.

The pork meat is commonly used in non Muslim counties and its bi products are used in manufacturing other products like oil, Gelatin etc. The Muslim countries import lot of products from non Muslim countries hence the question raises about their pork ingredients used in these products? These products required Halal certification for Muslim consumer.

In the early 1980’s the concepts of Halal Certification started growing and the Halal authorities and committees were formed in different Muslim countries to enforce and monitor Halal food and halal products. The Malaysia enjoys the diversity in religion and need balance between Muslims and other religion. In 1982 Malaysia initiated the Halal committee under Islamic Centre Pusat Islam.

Similarly Indonesia is another big Muslim country with around 200 million population developed a regulatory body known as Assessment Institute for food, Drugs and Cosmetics by the Majlis Ilama Indonesia (MUI), this body was comprises of religious scholar and their responsibility was to handle the threat of Pork fat (lard) in their imported products.

The Islamic centre of Singapore develop the Maglis Ulma Islam with the support of government and  the MUIS started Halal Certification in 1978 beside the fact that the Muslims are in minority in Singapore. In 1999 their parliament passed the amendment of the administration of Muslim Act (AMLA) and the government further delegated the powers to MUIS to regulate, promote and enhance the Halal food industry.

To meet the need of Halal product, the need of Halal Certification increases day by day and finally the World Halal Council Was formed in 1999 in Jakarta, Indonesia. World Halal Council has 142 Islamic Scholars from different countries of the world. They derived the Shariah Law for Halal Certification. It aims to have a mutual cooperation and respect among halal certifying bodies worldwide and standardize halal certification procedure and technicalities.

The 1.8 Billion Muslims are 26% of the Global population , they did not confine their noise of Halal products up to halal meat, Consumer or  Cosmetics products rather they start demanding Halal pharmaceutical as well, because of non halal ingredient incurred in Pharmaceutical manufacturing like…

                Gelatin Capsule
                Oil base inject able
                Vitamins products
                Nutritional products
                Protein powders etc.
Gelatin.

The global gelatin market was around $2.7 billion, while the estimated market of pharmaceutical and Nutraceuticals was $1.3 billion in 2015. according to a 2015 report by Grand View Research. Based on a volume cumulative annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.8 percent per annum between 2014 and 2020, there was a market value of $2.7 billion for 2015, and a market volume of 403 metric kilotons. Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals are the second and third largest application categories of gelatin after food, accounting for 26 percent and 21 percent respectively of the total market, nearly all gelatin production worldwide is non-halal, and analysts estimate that just 3 percent is halal-certified, 45 percent gelatin is from porcine (pork-based) and the rest is sourced from cows and fish, according to Roland Fischer at VALEMIS Performance Ingredients, Switzerland.

Gelatin is now used in hard and soft capsules for prescription drugs and vitamin supplements- as a result; many Muslims often unknowingly take capsule drugs that contain porcine gelatin. Now the Halal pharmaceuticals market showing substantial growth, so halal gelatin demand is increased. However, halal gelatin has yet to become widely available.

The pharmaceutical Companies started getting halal certifications for their units and products to satisfy the need and wants of the consumer. I would like to quote some companies who certified them halal.

WHY PORK IS HARAM- MEDICAL REASONS

The Muslims follow the Quran and Sunnah. The Quran provide the direction to the Muslim about their day to day matter of life. The food is the basic need and Allah has permitted and describe the food for the Muslims in the following verses of Holy Quran.

The Honey Beess (An-Naĥl):114 - So eat of the lawful and good food which Allah hath provided  for you, and thank the bounty of your Lord if it is Him ye serve.

The Honey Beess (An-Naĥl):115 - He hath forbidden for you only carrion and blood and  swine flesh and that which hath been immolated in the name of any other than Allah; but he who is driven thereto, neither craving nor transgressing, lo! then Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

The Honey Beess (An-Naĥl):116 - And speak not, concerning that which your own tongues qualify  (as clean or unclean), the falsehood: "This is lawful, and this is forbidden," so that ye invent a lie against Allah. Lo! those who invent a lie against Allah will not succeed.

The above verses clearly depict that the Flesh of Swine is prohibited (Haram) in Islam. The Halal things are clean and hygienic, while the non halal things are unclean, Nag’s and Unhygienic.  I would like to share with thanks the article written by Dr. Hassan Mustafa regarding harmful effect of Swine flesh on human health with the following title.

Eight medical reasons to prohibit swine flesh.

Dr. Hassaan Mustafa, a member of the World Union of Health in Canada, enumerate to us the diseases transmitted by the flesh of swine to man:

1. The pig cannot get rid of the entire quantity of uric acid that is formed in its body, given that it is the main element of urine. It gets rid of only 2% and 98% remains in its flesh. That simply means that the flesh of swine is saturated with the main element of urine, which the bodies of all living beings on the surface of the earth endeavour to get rid of through the urinary system, due to the poisonous substances it contains. This is why those who eat the flesh of swine have high rates of arthritis, due to the high rate of uric acid in their blood.

2. The flesh of swine is hard to digest; and it takes four complete hours in order to be digested, given that the amount of digested protein that is absorbed after that process does not exceed 14%. For this reason, the flesh of swine is nutritiously bad and unworthy of the money paid for it, given that the flesh of swine, in many countries, is more expensive than the flesh of other animals whose flesh is edible with no similar problems.

3. The flesh of swine contains high rates of the growth hormone, which accelerates the proliferation of cancer cells if there are any.

4. The fat of swine is hard to digest and emulsify in the digestive system. The greatest portion of it is formed of harmful saturated fats. It is absorbed from the intestines into the blood in the form of huge molecules, that might possibly sediment on the walls of blood vessels and block them, causing blood clot, let alone sclerosis and noticeable high rates of cholesterol and saturated fats (triglycerides) in the blood.

5. The fat of swine sediments in the human body in the same place it comes from in the pig; and this is indeed strange!!! If the fat comes from the belly of the pig, it would settle in the belly of the person who eats it. In this way, the fat of swine helps distort the human body.

6. Eating the flesh of swine paves the way for many ailments and skin problems and diseases, like pimples, sores, fat sacks, and itching, for it contains a high rate of histamine.

7. Pigs and their flesh are the source of more than 57 parasitic, germ-caused and virus-caused diseases transmitted to man, of which a mention may be made of Trichinella, from which the flesh of swine could hardly be free. Trichinella parasites remain in the muscles of man, causing severe pains that might probably paralyze their movement. They might also remain in the diaphragm, causing breathlessness and consequently death. Moreover, those parasites might remain for more than thirty years in the muscles after encasing themselves in a calcic sac.
It is quite interesting to know that an American researcher published on the Archives of Internal Medicine website in 11/6/2001 that the renowned German musician Mozart (d.1791) likely died because of eating uncooked flesh of swine 44 days before the beginning of his 15-day fatal ailment. He was infected by Trichinella, which had not yet been known at that time.

8. The body of the pig in itself is regarded as a biological factory that has the potential to produce virus-caused diseases and epidemics that might affect man due to the genetic resemblance of pig cells to those of man. The world pandemic called swine flu which we are witnessing now is a result of the metamorphosis and merging of the viruses of bird flu, human flu and swine flu, together inside the body of the pig. They have been metamorphosed into a new deadly virus that is transferred from pigs to people and from man to man. In Canada, a case has been recently recorded where that disease was transmitted from an infected person to a herd of pigs, thus making that pandemic enter a dangerous integrated cycle.
E. A. Widmer, Ph.D., is professor and program director of environmental health, School of Public Health, Loma Linda University writes in Ministry international journal for pastors in May 1988. below are some of his article references.
The prohibition against eating pork is clearly stated in Scripture: "And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you" (Lev. 11:78, NIV).(New international version)

Those who avoid eating pork on biblical grounds do so because they believe that the Leviticus 11 prohibition against eating unclean meats was given for reasons relating to health.

The results of research in recent years can help us understand why the Lord included the pig among the animals that were not to be eaten by His people. Pork consumption is now associated with coronary heart disease, cancer, and certain communicable diseases.

1. Pigs are noteworthy as hosts for the intestinal trichina roundworm, Trichinetta spiralis, which causes the disease trichinosis.

2. A disease with symptoms that doctors often attribute to intestinal flu, pneumonia, or rheumatism.
Pork and pork products are not the only means of human infection with trichinosis. Outbreaks from eating horse, bear, or walrus or other marine mammals have also been reported.

3. Pork is the most common source in most cultures. Since the eating of pork and other types of meat are the only routes of transmission both human and animal trichinosis infections have been reported from Central America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe (this parasite does not exist in Australia and certain islands of the South Pacific regions. )

Pork tapeworms.

Tapeworms are yet another problem that eating pork poses. The adult pork tapeworm can reach a length of 10 feet, and it can live for several decades in the small intestine. This worm can have as many as 1,000 segments, each with a uterus and the ability to produce eggs that can infect humans and swine through fecal-oral contamination or by reverse transport of the eggs from the intestine to the stomach. In either case the embryos penetrate the stomach wall, enter the blood, and are transported throughout the body. The embryos form small cysts, and these develop into bladder worms (the immature stage) in muscle, internal organs, eyes, and/or brain. The bladder worms can survive for as long as five years. If infection is wide spread, it can simulate a brain tumor, epilepsy, or other neurological or psychiatric disorders.
People become infected with the adult tapeworm by eating under-cooked pork infected with bladder worms. Once in the intestinal tract, the worm develops into its adult form.

Chronic diseases.

Pork contributes not only to the spread of communicable diseases but also to the development of the chronic diseases such as coronary heart disease, strokes, and cancer.

The occurrence and severity of coronary heart disease increases with an increase in dietary cholesterol, total dietary fat, and especially saturated fats. Pork contains only a moderate amount of cholesterol, but is a major source of fat. Even the leanest cuts of pork derive more than 34 percent of their calories from fat, and most pork products derive 50 to 75 percent of their calories from fat. Because it is high in saturated fat, pork con tributes to increased cholesterol production. This in turn increases the blood cholesterol levels so strongly connected to coronary heart disease and strokes. Compounding the problem, many pork products contain a very high level of sodium, a factor in high blood pressure, which is also a strong risk factor for both coronary heart disease and strokes.

Pork is also implicated in breast cancer, prostate cancer, and cancer of the colon. Mortality from breast cancer rises as a woman's consumption of pork (specifically) and total fats increases.  Prostate cancer is associated with the consumption of a high-fat diet, both saturated and animal fats. Studies on the incidence of colon cancer show that those having the disease consume more refined wheat bread, meat (especially pork) > and beer, and have a low intake of dietary fiber.

The scriptural texts in Leviticus may seem rather dictatorial and arbitrary, but when they are considered from the vantage point of the science of communicable diseases, we can see that the prohibitions are significant public health measures for prevention of several potentially serious diseases.

Pork base Medicine or Halal Medicine- choice is your’s.

Pork base Medicine or Halal Medicine- choice is your’s.

The Islam has given the unmatched values to human life and hence describes his importance in the following verse of Holy Quran.

Chapter No 5:32
Because of that, we decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

Chapter No 16:115
―He hath only forbidden you dead meat and blood and the flesh of swine and that eat on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah, but if one is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, Allah is forgiver and most merciful‖.

In the view of Islamic scholars even prohibited things are allowed to a Muslim if it became the only option for his life survival, but after his survival-he has to follow strictly the laws of shariah mentioned in Quran and Sun-nah.

From the Quranic verses cited above it would imply that, not only, consuming Halal food but also consuming Halal medication is important because it forms a major part and behaviour of being a good practicing Muslim. Consuming Halal medication is fundamental right of Muslims in terms of using healthcare facilities and services to maintain their health according to their faith and belief.

The global vision of Halal medicine is based to meet the religious need of 1.8 billion Muslims which are 26% of the world population. The noise increased due to changes in resource of manufacturing pharmaceutical bi-products. The increased usage of Pork in America and Europe increases the probability of pork Gelatine production and its usage in Pharmaceutical manufacturing. It also reduces the cost of Gelatine. Following is the usage, source and function of ingredient used in pharmaceutical productions.

Gelatine
Source       Pork, Fish, Vegetable etc
Function   Capsules, emulsifier, filler

The Difference between veggie and animal gelatine capsule is as under

Gelatine Capsules:

  1.       Are made of gelatine, a derivative of collagen, therefore an animal by-product
  2.        It’s readily absorbed by the body and easily digested
  3.        Ideal for children and those with sensitive stomachs
  4.         Only suitable for powdered supplements.

 Veggie Capsules:

1.       Derived from cellulose, a plant by-product.
2.       Readily absorbed by the body.
3.       Ideal for vegetarian and vegan users.
4.       Suitable for powdered and gel supplements.

The major difference between these capsules is plant-based vs. animal-based both are safe and effective in delivering vitamins and supplements. It largely depends on your choice as per your customer need.
There are some other pharmaceutical ingredients which are commonly used in pharmaceuticals production. Below is their source and functions. You have the liberty of choice for product manufacturing.

GLYCERINE AND GLYCEROL..

Source                  (a) Lard (fat from the abdomen of pig)
     (b)Vegetables

Functions             used as Diluents, antibacterial, sweetener and preservatives used in Tab, Syrup, and       Inject able manufacturing.

STERATES LIKE MAGNESIUM, STEARIC ACID, CALCIUM.

Source                  1..Animal Fats, Lard or fatty acids from pig’s stomach.
     2. Vegetable (palm oil. Coconut, soybean, castor oil, sunflower)

Function              used as Lubricant and Binders.

A large number of ingredients used in pharmaceuticals manufacturing are pig based, animal based or Vegetable based, the choice is of consumer which kind of products he wants. The pig based ingredients are cost effective because of their free availability in the countries where the medicine bi products are produced; hence it is profitable for the company. If you want a halal product then you have to pay the premium. Now there are sound reasons to ask for halal product.

  1. The Halal Product must ensure the quality ingredient to produce a quality product and it will ensure a uniform standard at global level.
  2. The Halal product must contain the Halal ingredient to respect the religious need of not only Muslims but also the need of Christianity- below is the references of Holy Bible recommending not to eat pork.
 A.      Leviticus 11:7-8

And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.

      B.      Deuteronomy 14:8

8 The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.

     C.      Isaiah 66:17

17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.

In the end I would like to say that those humans who are  practicing their religion has the choice, of Pork base or Halal animal base or Vegetable base products?

World Halal Day- First time in Pakistan

Shaikh Farhan Chawla (Director)

“World Halal Day”

Bosch is the 7th Largest and only Halal Certified Pharmaceutical Company of Pakistan. Bosch celebrated the “World Halal Day “first time in Pakistan on 17th Ramadan, 23rd June 2016. The eminent doctor’s families attended the Iftar Dinner at Hotel Ramada Karachi. The objective was to create the awareness of halal medicine among medical community. The event was covered by print and electronic media.

Mr Shaikh Farhan Chawla Director of the company said “Bosch Pharmaceutical is poised to promote the usage of halal products in the country and the global market at large. We believe that Pakistan has a remarkable potential of tapping a significant share of the global halal market. This can be done by projecting and developing the country as a hub of halal pharmaceutical products in the international market.  At present, Pakistan has a very little share in the international halal industry, but we are aiming to increase that share gradually.” He said that halal products are based on two basic principles

        1-Quality.
2-Halal ingredients – as per shariah law.

Bosch pharmaceuticals got the halal certification from RI&CA (Renaissance Inspection & Certification Agency). RI&CA is the founder and associate member of International Halal Integrity Alliance-Malaysia (IHI-Alliance Malaysia), a non-profit organisation working under the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) through its partnership with Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to harmonize the Halal standards and the global halal accreditation system and with World Halal Council (WHC).

The halal Pharmaceutical concept was appreciated by the medical professionals, they said there is always the question about gelatin (source of the capsule), and this myth was not solved before this event. Now we can confidently prescribe a halal medicine as per our belief. They further added to update their information regarding halal medicine on regular basis.
The event was followed by Iftar Dinner.

What is Halal?

BISMILLAHIR-RAHMANIR-RAHIM
In The Name of ALLAH, The Most Gracious, The most Merciful

What is Halal?

The Halaal is an Arabic Word which means permissible in Islam. The Halaal does not confine up to Food, Beverages, drinks and Pharmaceutical Products rather it is applicable on all matters of daily life. The Shariah law, which is based on Quran and Hadith is the base to certify a Halal products for muslims.

HALAL MEAT.

We should refer to Holy Quran to know about the halal meat:
Forbidden unto you (for food) are carrion and blood and swine flesh, and that which hath been dedicated unto any other than Allah, and the strangled, and the dead through beating, and the dead through falling from a height, and that which hath been killed by (the goring of) horns, and the devoured of wild beasts, saving that which ye make lawful (by the death-stroke), and that which hath been immolated unto idols. And (forbidden is it) that ye swear by the divining arrows. This is an abomination. This day are those who disbelieve in despair of (ever harming) your religion; so fear them not, fears Me! This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed my favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion al-Islam. Who is forced by hunger, not by will, to sin: (for him) lo! Allah is forgiving, Merciful. (Al-Maida 5:3).
QUALITY.
The business is based on quality in all aspects. The cheating in all forms dislikes by Allah. Allah has warned those who indulge in cheating of dire consequences. Allah says in Surah Al-Mutaffifeen 83: 1-3“Woe to Al‑Mutaffifoon (those who give less in measure and weight). Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, And when they have to give by measure or weight to (other)men, give less than due”
In this verse, Allah gives severe warning to those who cheat by giving less in weights and measures. If such kind of cheating is given this kind of warning, imagine what would be the condition of a person who steals, embezzles and withholds from the people the things that are due? No doubt, they are the ones more evil than those who cheat in weights and measures.
Conclusion:
The halal products are those which must be according to Shariah law including the set standard of quality.

WHY HALAL CERTIFICATION NOW?

 WHY HALAL CERTIFICATION NOW?

The Halal is the basic religious need of the Muslim consumers and with the increase population it has developed a separate market segment with future market potential. The 1.8 billion Muslims are 26% of the world population and growing fast than the world growth population. The world growth population is 1.2% while the Muslims population growth is 1.6%.

The concept of halal certification was initiated in the United States in the mid-1960s as a necessary safety measure for Muslims living in a non-Muslim society. It was introduced with the aim of preserving Muslim identity and assisting with religious obligations. Halal became part of the Codex Aliment Arius of the United Nations in 1998.

Why the Muslims Now globally started crying about Halal?

I am quoting here with thanks an article of Dr. M. Amjad Khan (Medical Research Institute, United States)

In nearly all the western countries including Europe, the PRIMARY choice for meat is PIG. There are a lot of farms in these countries to breed this animal. In France alone, Pig Farms account for more than 42,000 PIGS have the highest quantity of FAT in their body than any other animal. But Europeans and Americans try to avoid fats. Thus, where does the FAT from these PIGS go? All pigs are cut in slaughter houses under the control of the department of food and it was the headache of the department of food to dispose of the fat removed from these pigs.

Formally, it was burnt (about 60 years ago). Then they thought of utilizing it. First, they experiment it in the making of SOAPS and it worked. Then, a full network was formed and this FAT was chemically Processed, Packed and Marketed, while the other manufacturing companies bought it. In the meantime, all European States made it a rule that every Food, Medical and Personal Hygiene product should have the ingredients listed on its cover. so, this ingredient was listed as PIG FAT. Those who are living in Europe for the past 40 years know about this. But, these products came under a ban by the ISLAMIC COUNTRIES at that time, which resulted in a trade deficit.

Going back in time, if you are somehow related to South East Asia, you might know about the provoking factors of the 1857 CIVIL WAR. At that time, Rifle Bullets were made in Europe and transported to the sub-continent through the Sea. It took months to reach there and the gun powder in it was ruined due to the exposure to sea. Then, they got the idea of coating the Bullets with fat, which was PIG FAT. The fat layer had to be scratched by teeth before using them. When the word spread, the soldiers, mostly Muslim and some Vegetarians, refused to fight. Which eventually lead to the Civil War.

The Europeans recognized these facts, and instead of writing PIG FAT, they started writing ANIMAL FAT. All those living in Europe since 1970’s know this fact. When the companies were asked by authorities from the MUSLIM COUNTRIES, what animal fat is it, they were told it was COW and SHEEP Fat. Here again a question raised, if it was COW or SHEEP Fat, still it is HARAAM to MUSLIMS, as these animal were not SLAUGHTERED as per the ISLAMIC LAW. Thus, they were again banned.

Now, these multinational companies were again facing a severe drought of money as 75% of their income comes from selling their goods to Muslim Countries, and these earn BILLIONS OF DOLLARS of Profit from their exports to the MUSLIM WORLD.

Finally they decided to start a coding language, so that only their Departments of Food Administration should know what they are using, and the common man is left lurking in the dark. Thus, they started E-CODES. These E- INGREDIENTS are present in a majority of products of multinational firms including, but not limited to -

TOOTH PASTE,
SHAVING CREAM
CHEWING GUM,
CHOCOLATE,
SWEETS,
BISCUITS,
CORN FLAKES, TOFFEES,
CANNED FOODS,
FRUIT TINS,

Some medication Multi-vitamins Since these goods are being used in all MUSLIM Countries indiscriminately, our society is facing problems like shamelessness, rudeness and sexual promiscuity.

So, I request all MUSLIMS or non pork eaters to check the ingredients of the ITEMS of daily use and match it with the following list of E-CODES. If any of the ingredients listed below is found, try to avoid it, as it has got PIG FAT;

E100, E110, E120, E 140, E141, E153, E210, E213, E214, E216, E234,
